The Good Doctor

This morning my stomach finally felt better! I still only wanted a banana and coffee, so I ate 2 and some cheese, as Juanita and Felipe liked it when we ate a lot of food! Today we met at Pablo’s after playing with the kids at Joanys' house. We walked up to the school and played with them for recess, we played ninja, baseball and hide and seek! They also thought it was super funny when Maddie and I got on the tetter totters, so we played with them on that as well. Next we met everyone in the school in the classroom and introduced ourselves before hanging with the kids more, then Pablo took all the nursing students to the clinic on the other side of the community. We met Christopher, a new doctor doing his community internship at the clinic at Arroyo del Toro before he could continue onto a specialty. He applied to family medicine and community health as he enjoyed being in Arroyo del Toro and he said the town really takes care of him.
