Today Chloe and I woke up around 8:30 and went to breakfast. Juana made eggs and toast and of course, we had coffee. I couldn’t eat all of it so when Pablo visited, he helped me finish it, I always feel rude if I don’t eat it but I’ve learned to still listen to my stomach. After we walked down to all the other houses and stopped in to chat with people on the way, everyone is so nice and welcoming to us! And we drank a lot of coffee. Then we met up with Erika, Maddie and all the kids! We walked to all of their houses and said good morning and hello to all the families! Then we returned to the big open space at Joana’s and Erika’s and played with volleyballs, soccer balls and flew kites. I drew and painted with Jamin Pablo’s godson and Leah, a little girl from Joana’s house. They loved the watercolor! Then we headed to lunch and my stomach didn’t feel good so I only had a soda and crackers, I haven’t pooped yet since I got here so I’m waiting for that to happen and I know my stomach will feel better . Next we hiked to a cave about a mile away and it was nothing like anything I’ve seen before! A huge green entrance with stalagmites and things and we had to climb down into it! We were all so muddy and sticky and sweaty! And practically the whole town came with us! We hiked back and headed back to our houses for dinner. We had the leftovers from the night before, then Chloe and I painted on the porch! Oliver and Matt came to pick us up and we headed back to Joana’s for the dance! We met the whole town and danced merengue and bachata and salsa for hours! Then we all walked home and it’s time for bed!
